Came across this restaurant by chance and we are so glad we did. We ordered the cannelloni and the beef tartar main and it was absolutely beautiful. Some of the best food we’ve ever had. The blonde front of house lady was so welcoming and friendly and even the chef came out to greet us. Being English speakers only we felt a bit intimidated to begin with because we don’t speak any French but everyone made us feel so at ease and welcome. Highly recommend!! We went again a couple of days later when we passed through Vinon-Verdon.

It was the only restaurant open during the afternoon. The food was really tasty, and the staff was friendly.

The hamburger paysan was one of the best burgers I've ever had -- well cooked beef pattie, Corsican cheese, crispy bacon, sauteed mushroom and a rosti pattie in a toasted bun, with home fries and a green salad with oil & balsamic vinegar. Delicious! My two companions' Pad Thai prawn salad and pork brochette were equally good.

We have been to Le Bistrot du Cours on several occasions over the past year, with family and friends, and it is our very favourite restaurant in the area. The owner is always welcoming, charming, polite and friendly and the serving staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food is unfailingly delicious - beautiful ingredients, cooked perfectly. The choice of wine is excellent too. Le Bistrot has a delightful atmosphere - relaxing, comfortable and cosy. Thank you! We are looking forward to our next visit.
